Allan has over 35 years of experience in the Australian and international coal industry and is a registered mine manager in South Africa and Australia. Allan commenced work with MIM Ltd at Mt Isa and then Union Corporation in South Africa. Subsequently, he joined BP Coal where he was, in succession, mine manager at the Howick Open Cut and Director Mining, BP Coal Inc (based in Cleveland), Ohio. After returning to Australia in 1990 he became General Manager of the Agipcoal United underground mine in the Hunter Valley and after that General Manager of the Rio Tinto Hunter Valley No 1 and Howick mines. Allan was a founding executive director of Excel Coal through to the takeover of Excel Coal by Peabody in 2006. Allan was also a non-executive director of Pacific National Pty Ltd, QR National Limited, QMastor Limited and more recently an executive director of Whitehaven Coal Limited until November 2012.
Allan is currently a non-executive director of Qube Holdings Limited.

Tony has 35 years experience in the financing, development and management of coal mining projects. He worked for BP Coal and BP Finance in Sydney and London in various business development and finance positions and for Agipcoal as the Managing Director of its Australian subsidiary. Tony was a founding director of Excel Coal in 1994 and Managing Director from this time, through the ASX-listing of Excel Coal and until the takeover of Excel Coal by Peabody in 2006. After Excel Coal, Tony joined Whitehaven Coal Ltd as Managing Director until resigning from that position in March 2013. Other previous board roles include non-executive director of King Island Scheelite Ltd and IMX Resources Ltd.
Tony is currently a non-executive director of Whitehaven Coal Ltd and Illawarra Coke Company.

Andy has over 35 years experience in mining finance and merchant banking as well as mining engineering and operations with major coal companies in the USA and Australia. From 1985 to 2003, he was an executive director of Eureka Capital Partners and its predecessor, Resource Finance Corporation Pty Ltd. Prior to that he worked for Westpac Banking Corporation, ARCO Coal, Utah International and Consolidation Coal in various management positions. Andy was an executive director of Excel Coal from 1994 through to the takeover of Excel Coal by Peabody in 2006.
Andy was previously an executive director of Whitehaven Coal Ltd and a non-executive director King Island Scheelite Ltd.
Andy is currently a non-executive director of Malabar Coal Limited.

Wayne has more than 30 years of resources sector and corporate finance experience. He has broad experience including; resource project feasibility, environmental approvals, finance, development, construction and operation.
For the past decade he has had senior corporate finance roles with Macquarie Bank, Challenger International and Wilson HTM. He has managed capital raisings and corporate transactions for many resource, energy and resource-services companies and projects including; Felix Resources, Runge, Whitehaven Coal, Excel Coal, Cleveland-Cliffs, Austral Coal, Sumitomo Coal, AMCI (USA) Inc, Nomad Building Solutions, Arrow Energy, Petroz, Nexus and Rio Tinto.
His development & operations background includes senior & executive roles with Alcoa of Australia, Macraes Mining, Minproc Engineers, Barclay-Mowlem and an ASX-listed exploration/development company.
He was previously a non-executive director of ASX-listed Titan Energy Services Ltd and Apollo Gas Ltd.
Wayne is currently Chairman of Malabar Coal Ltd and a director of Ironstone Capital Partners Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory business.

Simon has over 20 years of finance sector experience, specialising in the resources and energy sectors. Simon has held senior investment banking positions with Wilson HTM and Chase Securities (now JPMorgan Chase) and has advised companies on capital raisings and mergers and acquisitions in Australia and Europe. Prior to joining XLX, Simon was Head of Corporate at Wilson HTM. Simon has advised and managed capital raisings for a number of coal, energy and services companies including Felix Resources, Excel Coal, Whitehaven Coal, Austral Coal, AMCI (USA) Inc, Queensland Gas, Pure Energy, Bow Energy and Arrow Energy. He was previously a non-executive director of the engineering services group, G&S Pty Ltd.
Simon is currently a non-executive director of ASX-listed Titan Energy Services Ltd and Malabar Coal Ltd. Simon is also a director of Ironstone Capital Partners Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory business.

Paul has 40 years of Australian and international experience in the design, planning and costing of some of the world’s largest coal mines. He is a “Competent Person” as defined in the JORC Code. He has been involved with projects in Australia, USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Indonesia, Venezuela, Bangladesh, Republic of South Africa, Thailand, Colombia, Brazil, New Zealand, Mongolia, Philippines and Russia.
Prior to joining XLX he was an Executive Consultant for Minarco-MineConsult (a division of Runge Ltd). Paul’s operation experience includes as; Resident Technical Manager at EGAT’s Mae Moh mine, Thailand, Senior Mining Engineer for ETSA at Leigh Creek mine in South Australia, and, as Mine Engineer at BHP’s Blackwater and Saraji coal mines in Queensland.
